Friend2Friend Ministries

Have you ever prayed that God would be allowed back into area high schools?  God has answered that prayer.  Friend2Friend is about bringing God’s redemptive love back to Long Island high schools where change can happen on each campus.  

The doors are open to reach lost kids in the public high schools by empowering and equipping the Christian students to reach their peers.  YFC believes students are capable of being effective ministers to their friends in schools.  They share many things in common with their peers, from sitting next to them in class, to playing sports with them, to walking past them in the hallways.  It’s a unique relational ministry opportunity.  

YFC trains, coaches, and disciples student leaders to start/lead a Christian Club in their own school.  The Equal Access Law protects this right.  

It’s the vision of LI YFC to see a student-led Christian club in every one of the 117 public high schools on Long Island.  God is providing a way.  We dare not miss this opportunity to impact this new, young generation.  

But it goes beyond the Christian Club in school.  It’s about living out the two greatest commandments: to love Jesus and to love others.  When students do this, their peers can’t help but take notice.  Putting faith into action is at the core of Student Led Ministry.
