Attention Parents!!! You still have the greatest influence on your teenager.

Teens learn more about life from their parents than any other person or any other media outlet.  Seems hard to believe on those tough days when they don’t appear to be listening or paying attention to you. Even when you make decisions they hate----they still respect you. All the teen surveys show this to be true. Ten years from now you will be convinced. They will grow up to be a lot like you.

YFC is here to help and support you. Our influence is only a fraction of yours but sometimes it comes at the right time when they need it most.

Be concerned about who is influencing your teen. Set standards and careful rules about how they use media and their computer. Teach them to discern what is right and wrong. Give them freedom to exercise their choices. Talk to them about it.

When you and your teenager are having difficulties----pray, pray, pray and talk, talk, talk.

Keep the lines of communication open. Use your ears twice as much as your mouth.  Balance the hard and soft sides of love as you deal with them.
